Who is the Aqua Blue Toons
In 2017, Roman Lopez started going by the name AquaBlueToons online where he went on to create his current cast of original characters: the most popular being KiD from KiD and the Monsters back in 2017, who has been featured in a variety of different projects since the year the character was created. Roman is a cartoonist born and raised in the state of California inspired by his brother and father’s creative works. With his degree in Interaction Media & Game Design from California State East Bay, Roman is designing games and other types of media, featuring his original characters and stories, created from his own life experiences and feelings. He hopes that the stories he writes connect with you and that the games he designs are fun.

Concept/Character Designer or Artist​
For the past 10 years , I have been designing and writing a variety of different characters, stories, animations, comics and games. I’m experience getting multiple ideas down at once as well sketching out proof of concepts from storyboards to character refence sheets.
Illustrator​
For as long as I remember I have been drawing, it’s my one true passion. From posters to short animations, I do various types of illustrative work. I have both done work with my own original proprieties as well freelance work for streamers and people wishing for art service
Game Designer
I have been a one of the lead game designer for a few small game projects over the years. Many of the games proved to be hit, showing high production value you with the show timeline span they were created in. I have proven to handle my timelines well, pivoting a game’s directions when a projects starts showing cracks or running low on time. I have mainly handle art and design, but I do have an understanding of coding logic.
